Grounded Synthesis with NotebookLM

Transform raw research into a structured Knowledge Base.

Objective: Use Google's NotebookLM to organize and synthesize complex academic materials.


🛠️ Mission 1: The Source Upload

  1. Access NotebookLM.
  2. Create a New Notebook: Name it "ISU AI Workshop Mastery."
  3. Upload Sources:
    • Upload the Sparks of AGI paper from the /References folder.
    • Upload your shared agents.md from your workshop directory.
    • (Optional) Upload a draft of your own research or a syllabus.

🎙️ Mission 2: The Deep Dive Audio

  1. Generate a "Deep Dive" Audio Overview.
  2. Challenge: Listen to the first 2 minutes. Does it capture the "Ghost Workforce" protocol accurately? Does it explain "Tokenization" correctly based only on your uploaded notes?
  3. Note: This is a powerful way to "consume" your own research during a commute.

🔍 Mission 3: Grounded Q&A

Ask the notebook the following questions and verify the Citations:

  1. "What is the primary role of the agent named Antigravity?"
  2. "Based on the Sparks of AGI paper, what is a 'Context Window'?"
  3. "Summarize the pedagogical strategy for the Augmented Academic."
Rule: Ensure every answer has a blue citation number linking back to the exact paragraph in your sources.

📝 Mission 4: The Study Guide

  1. Use the "Suggested Notes" feature to create a Study Guide for a student who missed Day 1.
  2. Refine the guide: Add a section on "CLI Mastery" using the notes from your lab.

🚀 Advanced Mission 5: The Antigravity Connection (MCP)

The Concept: Move from "Chatting" to "Architecting." Use Antigravity as the Builder and NotebookLM as your Infinite Knowledge Base.

  1. Setup MCP: In Antigravity's terminal, connect the NotebookLM MCP server.
  2. Programmatic Notebooks: Ask Antigravity to "Identify 5 key areas for my research and spin up 5 corresponding notebooks in NotebookLM automatically."
  3. The Hybrid App: Ask Antigravity to build a one-page HTML dashboard that extracts and displays data synthesized by your NotebookLM notebooks.
Result: A 24/7 research system with zero API costs and infinite context.
